Supporting the Community

The Rancho Bernardo Brokers Group routinely provides support to various groups and charities within the community. This page will contain information about some of the notable projects we have supported.

SUPPORTING GRAD NIGHT FOR RANCHO BERNARDO HIGH SCHOOLS

Terry Norwood, who coordinates the Grad Night for the Rancho Bernardo High Schools, came to our meeting on June 16, 2016 with a letter of thanks and some wonderful comments for our group. This year we donated $656 for the Rancho Bernardo area High Schools to support their GradNight activities, which was an increase from the $575 we donated in 2015. The money comes from agent donations and the money we collect at the door for our charity drawings.

BIG BROTHERS AND BIG SISTERS OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY

Jeff Smith with his son, Braden, announced their fund raiser for Big Brothers and Big Sisters to our group at the June16, 2016 meeting. They passed the hat and collected nearly $200 for the 23rd annual Golf Marathon. This brought them close to their goal to raise $3000 by playing 100 holes of golf.

WE PACKED ONE MILLION MEALS!!!

Maria Pena-Morales and Jeff Hans of Team Q at RE/MAX Ranch & Beach rallied members of the Rancho Bernardo Real Estate Brokers Association and raised donations of time and money toward the record breaking efforts of Friends and Family Community Connection. www.ffccsd.org

ONE MILLION MEALS were packaged March 20th and 21st. These meal packages will be used to feed the hungry in Haiti, Tanzania and here in San Diego County. Whether they were knee deep in rice, vitamins, vegetables, and soy, or sending in much needed financial support…they were part of a team that made an incredible impact in San Diego’s Fight Against Hunger! Thank you for all your support. Every dollar and every hour of your time counts!
